The Cat's Fancy by Julie Kenner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
"The Cat's Fancy" by Julie Kenner is the prequel novel to the Superhero Series. Maggie is a cat that wants to be human because she is in love with her owner, Nicolas. Nicolas is about to get married to an awful woman. Can Maggie convince Nicolas that he loves her? Or will she be forced to live out nine lives as a cat? Overall, this is a cute romance. Kenner's characters are very likable. I really enjoyed reading it and hope that you love it too!

Lost by Ron Vitale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Ron Vitale's "Lost" is Cinderella with a twist. The story starts four years after her wedding to the prince. Written as a series of diary entries from Cinderella's perspective, she is twenty years old and feeling alone in the world. She has one friend, her lady in waiting, and is despised by the queen. The prince's infatuation with her is gone and he has turned his eye to others. Even though Cinderella is normally told as a French fairy tale, this version is that of an English princess. It also takes place during Napoleon's rein, hence it is a bit historically later than the original. If you are looking for the classic Cinderella story, then this isn't for you. The fairy tale is the launch point, and the story is doesn't really start until she reaches Paris.
