The M-Team by Kate Danley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
"The M-Team" by Kate Danley is another awesome adventure for Maggie Mckay and Killian. If having saved the world wasn't enough, in the previous book, Maggie and Killian are finding that the World Walkers Association is dragging their feet with their paperwork. When they finally catch a break they learn that they were taken off the case. Called into a meeting with the World Walkers Association should be nothing to be worried about, but with a track record that Maggie has anything could be possible. Overall, I really enjoyed this novel. It has all of the fun character building stuff from previous novels along with giving the reader a couple of new gems to smile about. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Aphrodite's Kiss by Julie Kenner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
"Aphrodite's Kiss" is the first novel in the Superhero Series by Julie Kenner. Elementary school librarian Zoe Smith is about to turn twenty five. As a halfling, it is a very important birthday. She has to decide to become a Protector like her father Donis, and half brother Hale or to become mortal like her mother. The catch is that if she wants to be a Protector then she has to master her extraordinary powers and pass a test. And if she wants to become mortal, then she will lose her memories of her father and brother. The choice for Zoe is simple. Until George Taylor walked into her life. Throw in an ancient artifact that can lead to the end the world and you get a whirlwind of a romance novel. Overall, I enjoyed this novel. It was told from multiple perspectives which allowed the reader to get a well rounded story. After previewing the descriptions from other novels in the series, I found that the characters introduced in this novel are in the other novels as well.
